Product Details

Wild Pink Shawl is named after the wool dye I used. I was looking for some bright shades and once I set my eyes on the package called ‘Wild Pink’ I knew I found what I needed. The shawl is crescent shaped, started in the middle. The volume is built up by increasing at the inner edge.

The shawl is easy to knit as it uses only basic lace stitches. It can be a great shawl for a novice lace knitter with spectacular results! and this is the opinion of several testers :)

Sizing can be adapted by adding more repeats of the body section. You can also work an optional stockinette section to start with. Beading optional.

Any yarn from lace to DK weight will look good on the shawl. Consequently, needles should be adapted to the yarn used and the degree of lacy effect that you desire to achieve.

Pictured shawl was knitted with light fingering yarn I dyed myself on US 6 – 4mm needles and I used up 350m /385 yards to obtain shawl that measures approx. 180 x 51cm/70 x 20” blocked.
