Product Details
Try your hand at this stocking for a taste of traditional Norwegian motifs. The timeless design will look perfect wherever you hang your stockings.
Knit from the top down, there is a contrast hem with picot edge at the top. Traditional Norwegian “lice” stitches are dotted throughout the plain stockinette sections. A simple flap heel and a decorative band finish it off just above the star toe.
Yarn used: Worsted Weight – Main Color - green 2oz (57g)/187yds (171m), Contrast Color - white 0.78oz (22g)/73yds (67m).
Sample: made in Cascade 220 Sport; 100% Peruvian Highland Wool, 1.75oz (50g)/164yds (150m); MC: #9672 Ultramarine Green -2 skeins, #8505 White – 1 skein.
