The Winter Tales Blanket Shawl is made with Plotulopi icelandic wool with a minimal classic stitch to envelop yourself completely. One thing that I love most about this classic piece, are the mindless stitches where you find yourself lost in the rhythm of simply creating. A perfect lightweight shawl that can also be used as a blanket. Gauge - 18 sts x 36 rows = 4x4"/10 x 10 cm in garter stitch on 4.5 mm (US Size 7) needles. *each garter ridge counts as 1 row. Needle Size - 4.5 mm (US Size 7) 32-40" circular needles or the required needles to obtain gauge. Yarn - 826 yds of Istex Plotulopi Icelandic Wool in the color dark woods (100g=328 yds).
