Whether you enjoy colorwork or just need a simple, rock solid fingerless mitten pattern, the Woodmere Mitts pattern is a very smart choice. Sport weight wool means the knitting is a bit faster than traditional stranding, and the result is a pair of mitts you'll wear over and over again.
Yarn used in sample is Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Sport, but Cascade 220 Sport would make an excellent substitute. You will need one ball in each of two colors to complete the mitts.
