Product Details
Yan Tan Tether is a design inspired by the traditional sheep counting system used in the Yorkshire Dales.
The cushion is knit in the round using 2 contrasting colours. The photography sample was knit in 4 ply Blacker Yarn, but West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4 ply is suggested here as a suitable substitute as it is available through Love Knitting.
Skills required include stranded colour work, provisional cast on, knitting in the round, and Kitchener stitch graft.
This pattern is made available with kind permission of the designer, Ann Kingstone. Sale proceeds for this pattern support the Knitting & Crochet Guild in its continuing work of education, innovation and preservation. Visit our website for more details at www.kcguild.org.uk
