Product Details
The art deco feel of these tiled snowflakes put me in mind of another period - when Beirut was a hopping vacation spot, and small Swiss skiing towns were household names.
Worked entirely in the round, from the bottom up, with steeks to form armholes, front neck and back neck. Ribbed edging is also worked in the round. Stitches include k2tog, ssk, and three-needle bind off. Armhole and front neck shaping start on the same round, so be sure to note the concurrent instructions, marked by that dreaded phrase ‘AT THE SAME TIME’. The yarn called for is very feltable wool - not superwash, and not designed for socks. Look for a Shetland 2-ply - like Shetland Spindrift or Knit Picks Palette.
