Product Details
This all season small shawl, or shawlette, is the perfect one-skein project for a beautiful fingering weight yarn. Worked in one piece from end to end, the lace edging is knitted along with the stockinette body. Size is adjustable, based on how much yarn is used. Weigh your yarn before you begin and periodically as you knit. When you have used half the yarn, begin to decrease your shawl. The pattern is easy to follow and quick to knit! Pattern includes notes, list of abbreviations, and fully written as well as fully charted instructions. Finished measurements: approximately 38 cm (15 inches) wide at middle point and 185 cm (73 inches) long, after blocking. It is important to block the finished shawlette to open the lace pattern and achieve the overall finished size. Skills required: increasing, decreasing, basic lace knitting, blocking. Stitches used: k, p, M1R, k2tog, k3tog, ssk, yo.
