His and Hers simple cable sweater is classic and warm and works up in a jiffy using bulky 100% American grown and processed Merino wool.
Originally I had planned a very, very basic sweater, with only one panel of cables on the front, but decided that I really, really can't knit that much plain stockinette and stay excited about the design, and so I added a paired down cable panel for the back and some detailing to the top of the sleeves.
Easy cable pattern adds interest but is simple enough for even a novice 'cabler' to manage, as there are only 2 cables on the front and one down the center back, (the back on, if you really want, could even be left off). The sleeve features a neat center pattern that adds visual and knitting interest, and as an added bonus, it also helps in counting the rounds!
