This design is a quickie, works up very fast, using size 9mm crochet hook, and Lion Brand Wool Ease, (or you could substitute 3 strands of worsted weight yarn).

I always write my patterns without abbreviations for ease of reading and understanding.
I also design in the most simple methods to achieve the desired results!
This hat works from the bottom up which gives you the opportunity to try it on and make sure it's going to fit before waiting until you are finished. As well... the easiest method of making a hat is to work from the bottom up, as it eliminates the need for increasing stitches!
