Bands of Garter stitch in between give the scarf wonderful contrasts in texture. The combined effect causes the edges to curve seductively and uniquely along the long length of the scarf.
The scarf is knit extra long to be wrapped around the neck twice. Thick fringe finishes both ends. By design, the pattern stitches of this scarf give it a tendency to curl, as you see in the photo.
