This pattern features a selection of 8 lace designs for a wardrobe of lovely texting gloves. The shaping stitches are simple yarnovers and decreases (YO, K2tog, SSK), plus 2 laces with a double decrease (SL2KPO). Each lace has its own page with complete chart, written instructions and swatch.
The gloves are knit in the round. The pattern is written for the Magic Loop technique of circular knitting, with instructions for dividing the stitches in half. Complete left and right glove charts are provided for knitters familiar with double pointed needles who wish to divide the stitches further. Tip sheets are included for knitting the gusset.
The gloves will fit hand circumferences ranging from 6"/Small to 8.5"/X-Large, based on your choice of yarn and its gauge (chart included). One 3.5 oz/100 gram skein is sufficient for any size. Several 7.5" M/L size samples were knit in Caron Simply Soft yarn, and I was able to knit 2 pair with one 5 oz. skein.
