A Cog in the Machine was designed as part of a collaboration with Marigoldjen, Sparklepunk, and myself. At Zombie Knitpocalypse 2014 (an anual knitting retreat), the three of us were in a larger group that went to a coffee shop one afternoon. Sparklepunk and I started showing off some of our design work and Marigoldjen said, “We could do a collaboration - I could offer yarn support.” So the three of us got to talking and a Steampunk collaboration was born.
Marigoldjen dyed up a beautiful colorway, “Copper Patina”. Sparklepunk designed a gorgeous pair of socks, “Mechanical Bell”.
