Knit a bright pink Fancy Flamingo toy with sleepy eyes and big feet.
This pattern is worked in stocking-stitch and uses simple increasing and decreasing to shape. Using chunky yarn, Flamingo is knitted flat on 4.5mm straight knitting needles, so no knitting in the round is needed to make him.
Suggested Yarns: We used one ball of King Cole Big Value Chunky in Rose (1542) for the body, wings and feet and small amounts of King Cole Big Value Chunky in Cream (551) for the legs and beak. You’ll also need a very small amount of black chunky for the beak tip- we used Stylecraft Special Chunky in Black (1002). You can of course use any colour chunky yarns you have in your stash if you prefer.
