A la folie are worked in stockinette st., with plenty of little hearts on the ankle, that can be made in constrasting colour or in reverse stockinette stitch in the same colour. So you have the choice between bicolore or single-colour socks.
These socks are worked toe up. You have the choice between 2 heel options : an afterthought heel, or a heel with gusset and heel-flap.
They are available in 6 sizes : 2XS, XS, S, M, L and XL, depending on foot’s width : 16/18 (20/22/24/26) cm / 8 (8¾/9½/10¼) inches of circumference. The smaller sizes can fit children.
Instructions are given for 21 shoe sizes : (FR) 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 / (US) 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 12.5 13, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9.5, 10, 11.
You will need fingering sock yarn, in 1 or 2 colours depending on the option you choose.
