Allow 2-4” / 5-9 cm for ease and overlap. (Shown in size 39 with 3” ease).
Needles & Notions: Size 7 US / 4.5 mm, size 4 US / 3.5 mm, 3 US / 3.25 mm for toggle buttons, crochet hook size 4 US / 3.5 mm for buttonholes
Gauge: 24 sts = 4 ½“ / 11.5 cm and 27 rows = 4” / 10 cm in pattern stitch with larger needles.
