Akina Cardigan

The Akina Cardigan is worked seamlessly flat from top down, with a twisted cable motif along the edges. It starts with a cast on for the upper back following by some short rows for the shoulder shaping and the upper back until end of the armholes. Both fronts will be worked separate after picking up stitches from the cast on. The fronts are divided along the back neck and grows over the shoulder to the front. The edges of the cardigan are worked in a double knit pattern and will be adjusted by short rows every other row. The drop shoulder sleeves are slightly oversized and ends in a half twisted ribbing. There are no shaping decreases and increases along the sides of the body. It is intended to be worn with approx. 20 cm / 7.75” positive ease around the bust.
