One of my favorite activities is beach combing with my husband. Åkrasanden is a beautiful beach in the Norwegian town where my husband’s family is from. While we were making plans to travel there, I was inspired by the undulating pattern of Åkrasanden beach and designed this cowl.
This unisex fully reversible pattern knits up quickly on a large gauge and is easy to customize for an entire family! I designed and knitted 3 cowls in 4 days! The finished cowls feel cozy and look great on adults and children! Have fun with yarn and motif play!

TWO CONSTRUCTION METHODS1. Knit it flat (one-color only) with no purling then seam it.
2. Knit it in the round with purling and no seaming; in one-color, two-colors, or multi-colors.
