The scarf uses a total of** 70g**, or 50g of Color 1 (Blush) and 20g of Color 2 (Black Cherry).
The stitch pattern is easy to execute, yet stays interesting. Almost Plaid scarf is perfect knitting for multi-tasking and is easy to put down and pick up. I always found myself looking forward to picking it again.
The pattern has written instructions and charts, including a chart that can be colored in on the contrast color rows to match your knitting! I think even the simplest project can teach us things, so look to use the flexible long-tail cast on**** and to graft stitches together. There are notes throughout on how to proceed with color changes, memorize the stitch pattern, and make your Almost Plaid scarf just how you want it. I've given the Almost Plaid scarf a moderate rating simply because of the grafting step at the end.
