This is a lovely, chunky baby sweater using the beautiful Alpine Stitch and ideal for colder weather. It is suitable for those with Advanced Beginner/Intermediate crochet skills but a full photo tutorial is included.
This sweater is crocheted top-down, raglan style. The body is crocheted in one piece and the sleeves and neck trim are then added. The only sewing required is to sew in your loose ends! This design creates a beautiful pattern along the yoke increases which reminds me of a morning frost – hence the name ‘Alpine Frost’.
This design includes options for lengthening or shortening the body and/or sleeves and for giving the neck a ‘snug’ or more ‘relaxed’ fit.
