I absolutely LOVE this bear! He's one of the few animals I've designed that I refuse to let go of my original sample!
He's big and cuddly, and reminds me of the teddy bear I had when I was little. My teddy bear was named 'teddy', and he was medium brown with a cute tan snout. I had him for years and dragged him around everywhere with me!
So, when I set out to design a teddy bear, I wanted to make one that would stand up to the test of time like my teddy. That's when it hit me: felting! By felting your crochet, the teddy bear is extra-durable and thick-skinned, but still super-soft and loveable.
He'll make a fantastic friend for the child in your life! (yes, even if the child in your life is yourself ;) )
