Détails du produit

just find amoeba fascinating - mostly because they can change their shape by extending and retracting pseudopods. Yikes!

This little critter is an Amoeba proteus, otherwise known as a ‘giant’ amoeba. Maybe you’ve even peered at one at school?! It has a little purple nucleus, yellow food vacuoles (just what HAS it been eating!) and a couple of white contractile vacuoles.

What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US3/3.25mm or as per tension advice), 1 knitting needle of the same size or stitch holder (optional), 10g blue DK yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 486 ‘Peek a Boo’), Oddment of purple DK yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 474 ‘Flower Girl’), Oddment of yellow DK yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 252 ‘Lemon’), Oddment of white DK yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 251 ‘White’), 2 black toy safety eyes (6mm), 1 tapestry needle for finishing, Polyfil toy stuffing
