Apparition is a top down, crescent shaped shawl that has been designed to be knit in a solid or almost solid colourway of DyeforYarn Tussah Silk Lace, Lichtfaden Chocho, Solstice Yarns Banshee and Green Tea Yarns Ujicha but for those who prefer it could also be knit in SweetGeorgia Merino Silk Lace and Greta and the Fibres Silk Me, all 700m/100g. A yarn with some silk content will be perfect yarn for this pattern giving Apparition substance and yet fragility, shape and delicate texture. The beads dance in your stitches adding weight and drape but not overpowering the delicate and ethereal feel of the shawl.
