These simple crochet applique were inspired by folk art embroidery. They are shown here sewn to a cushion cover, but could easily be adapted to embellish a sweater or the back of a denim jacket. They are easy to make and fun to embellish with beads, buttons or contrast embroidery. This pattern is for the bird and heart applique, the cushion pattern is not included.
