The shawl is knit from the corner in the shape of a skewed triangle. Tassels can be added to make corners look more polished. The pattern is easy to modify for another yarn weight as neither yardage nor gauge is critical. The number of section repeats can be adjusted as well depending on the desired size of the finished shawl. This way, you can use all the yarn from a skein without leftovers and waste.
