Knitting pattern instructions to make a cabled hat in chunky yarn. Knitted on straight needles and suitable for a man or woman, unisex. A fairly easy, 4 row cable pattern which is my own design and easy to read and follow. *The brim can be done in k2, p2, rib or k1, p1, rib, the choice is yours (see pictures) You can wear the hat with or without a pom pom. I used King Cole Big Value Chunky & Popular Yarn. *One 100g ball makes the hat without a pom pom. If you require a pom pom in the same yarn, you will need @ 150g in total.
