Gradients transition along a long arrow shape for a fun scarf or dramatic wrap. Two ombré colourways are worked in a simple intarsia pattern. Tassels dangle from each of the corners.
Originally designed for an ombré wool yarn and it would be equally effective in a plant-based fibre.
The scarf size uses one ball each of two different colourways and the shawl size requires two balls each. Plan the direction you want each colourway to progress. You many need to begin with the centre of one ball and the outside of the other.
For the larger shawl, join the second ball of each colour beginning with the same colour as the first ball finished. Because there will be an excess of this colour in the centre of the shawl, the tassels should be made from this colour.
