The slip stitch pattern of these cozy socks reminded me of warm flannel in winter. The fabric of these socks is very thick and squishy! They are like a worsted weight house or slipper sock, and are very warm. Excellent for fireside lounging, coffee drinking, apres ski, and general cold weather snuggling up! These ones likely won't fit in your shoes!
Any DK weight yarn will work. Use two high contrast colours to make the pattern pop. A great pattern choice for your wildest skeins of yarn.
I've included instructions for toe-up and cuff down as well as written and charted directions. If you would like even more variety, there is a fingering weight sister pattern, Northern Flannel, also available.
