Arrowhead provides simple texture stitch to add to your favorite sock pattern. The arrowhead texture is worked around the leg of the sock, and is continued down the top of the foot. Arrowhead features a slipped-stitch gusseted heel (substitute your heel of choice) and a rounded toe, both worked in a contrasting color.
The pattern is written for using the Magic Loop method but can be easily adjusted to use double pointed needles or other sock-knitting methods.
Materials Approx. 350 yards (400m) of fingering weight yarn for main color and optional contrast color for heels and toes
Sample in Mint Rain Yarns Soft Sock in Bubblegum with cream contrast
Sizes Women’s small (medium, large) 56 (64, 72) leg stitch count
Needles US 1 (2.25mm) 40" (100cm) circular needles for magic loop, or your sock needles of choice
Gauge 32 stitches and 40 rows = 10 cm/4in
