I have had the shape of this shawl (a bit like a half hexagon) in my head for a long time but couldn’t quite figure out how to do it. When I got this yarn for my last birthday I knew I had to work it out. I also wanted the border to have movement, without being really frilly and so the Artefact Shawl was born. It is made from the centre out and although it may look complicated the border is quite straightforward once you get going.
This sample was made in Life In The Long Grass Yarn so I have suggested an alternative.
