NOTE: I am hoping to release a wrap-style, larger scale version of this cowl done in Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick yarn. Same stitch, similar name (Autumn Morning Wrap), totally different style.
This lovely cowl is full of rich colors and subtly changes between deep reds, blues, pinks, and greys. The stitch, Trellis Lace, is only compatible with knitting in the round. All of the knit stitches lean to the right because of the K2tog. Speaking of which, the techniques you need to know are really simple.

It makes an excellent introduction to lace knitting, and once you've completed the cowl, you'll be able to knit almost any lace pattern!
