This pattern was designed and tested in Autumn, reflecting the colours of the changing trees, and the textures of the falling leaves and seeds. I wanted an asymmetrical shawl, which drapes beautifully with nz indie dyed yarn. I used 3 different colour skeins of Revive Designs, 4ply Merino Sock Yarn. The pattern increases, and then decreases to get the triangular shaping. It works both eyelet panels, and a ridge panel, mixed with garter stitch.
This shawl pattern would look lovely in any fingering or sock yarn, and can be knit on straight or interchangeable 4mm needles. Choose three complementary colours and go for it.
