This pattern for a classic Beret comes in 6 sizes: Newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 2 to 4 years, 5 to 7 years.

Quick and easy to knit in 10 ply (Worsted Weight) yarn.

Designed to be knit in the round, but I have included instructions on how to knit a flat knit version.

Instructions are for a plain and striped Beret.

Requires knitting needles size 4mm and 5mm or US6 and 8.
