A simple, easy pattern for a quick gift or for making many for charity. Seamless, top-down, unisex. Buttonband is knit along with the body and buttonholes are made on both sides for 2 reasons: 1. You can choose the sex after finishing the sweater. 2. You do not have to measure where to place the buttons, just put them over the left buttonholes for a girl, or the right buttonholes for a boy, closing the buttonholes as you attach the buttons.
Pattern written for a finished chest of 20"(51cm) or 24.5”(62cm) but other sizes can be made by varying your gauge and yarn thickness.
