This bright and fun blanket will brighten up any baby's cot or children's room!
The blanket is knitted flat on circular needles and in one piece (including the border), so no picking up stitches or sewing squares together - just sew in the ends when you're finished! The dog motif is knitted following an easy chart using the Intarsia method, which is why the pattern is more suited to intermidiate level. But the chart is so simple it would make a good project for someone new to colour knitting. The "WOOF" words and dogs' eyes are embroidered on afterwards using duplicate/Swiss darning stitch and French knots.
The whole blanket is made using Stylecraft DK yarn, which is soft, hard wearing and machine washable - really practical for children.
Measurements of finished blanket: 76 cm x 64 cm (30 x 25 inches)
