Baby elephant kids beanie

Welcome this cute little baby elephant parade! :) It is a cute two color baby to toddler beanie and can also be knitted as a preemie version.

My three beanies from the pictures are size XS and S and will go into the charity package for the advent bazar of the hospital in Bamberg for women suffering from breast cancer.

It has a two color ribbing and is followed by the little baby elephants and has a striped fun top! If you like you can also add a pompon.

As it has only two colors throughout the beanie, it is also suitable for multicolor knitting beginners.

I used 4-ply Acrylic yarn from Buttinette (Versailles) but you can also use 4-ply sock yarn or Merino yarn (4 to 5-ply). For preemies please use 4-ply sock yarn as it can be washed hot and desinfected that way and use 2.5 mm needle size. For normal sizes use 3.0 mm needle size.
