This is a CROCHET PATTERN for a chunky baby seal that can be made as short or as long as you want it to be. It takes less than an hour to crochet and turns out really cute, and testers have said that they make an excellent choice for selling at markets. The seal is low-sew, but can definitely be made no-sew once you've made some and know where you want your front flippers to be, decreasing the time it takes to make.
The seal is designed using chenille (super bulky) yarn and a 7 mm hook, and takes about 45-55 meters of yarn to complete. You can choose to use safety eyes and a safety nose, or to embroider the facial details.
