This is my Baby Simple Stripe Topknot Sun Hat knitting pattern. Its from my new Baby Topknot range of knitting patterns which are written to be worked flat on 2 single pointed needles OR knitted on circular needles, the choice is yours. These are very simple to make designs with stunning results and you may even learn to love circular knitting along the way. The knitting pattern provides full instructions for 4 sizes XS (preemie and tiny baby), S (newborn - 3months), M (6-12 months) and L (1-3 years). You can choose to knit the hat flat or try circular knitting as full instruction are given for both methods.
The sample was knit James C. Brett Super Soft Baby DK (now discontinued). A substitute yarn is shown below.
