Baby Sweetheart is a darling little cropped cardigan with a cute little love heart motif. Knit in one piece to armholes, in sizes from newborn to age 6 with a choice to knit in cap sleeve and long sleeve options (both versions are included in the pattern). The motif is charted and written and is suitable for somebody new to lace knitting. Knits up very quickly and is a great way of using up those odd balls of leftover yarn - smaller cap sleeve versions using just over 1 50g ball.
You also have the choice to add a button (or more than one for larger sizes) or to fasten with ribbon threaded through the eyelets at hem.
