Back and Forth Hats

MATERIALS:

1. Yarns/ yardage: Any WW4 yarn: Each design varies however you will need between 141 and 150 yards total
2. C1- 63-73 yrds (color 1
3. C2- 78-88 yrds (color 2)
4. Hooks:
5. Use Size “I” (5.50 MM) hook
6. Hair tie for ponytail option (I use Goody Ouchless brand)
7. Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
8. Scissors

NOTES:

1. This pattern is written in US terms
2. This pattern was written for the right handed crocheter
3. This pattern includes 2 styles: Beanie and Messy bun/ high pony tail
4. This pattern was designed to fit loosely on the head for people with curly hair. For a tighter fit, drop down 1 hook size.
5. This pattern is written with the beginner in mind however I do recommend you are a confident beginner (STITCHES INCLUDE: SC, DC,TR, BPDC, FPDC)

7. Using size “I” hook with WW4 yarn: 7 DC sts = 2”; 4 rows = 2”
8. Chains at beginning of rows count in end of row stitch count
9. Numbers in parentheses at end of rounds are your stitch counts for each round
