Ballband

A sock tribute to the infamous Ballband Dishrag! A pretty little slip-stitch pattern decorates the leg and instep of this sock. It's an interesting knit, but not so interesting that it could not be knit while chewing gum. Great for variegated yarns, this is a "traditional" top-down sock with a heel flap and tapered toe.

This pattern was created as part of the DRT Bake Sale to fund Dish Rag Tag 2009. All profits from purchases before September 30, 2009 were used to provide prizes for the first, second and third place teams. Now the profits are used to house and feed six cats.
