Knit in the round from the center out, this cabled cozy, a veritable sampler of unusual cables and broken rib edging, measures just over 38” x 38” and is the perfect size and weight for getting cuddly on the couch! Worked in a super-bulky acrylic (approx. 750 yards used), this knits up fast, is washable and light-weight. Charted and written directions included!
· You MUST be able to knit in the round, starting with 8 stitches and increasing to almost 350 sts.
· If you use a different yarn, the blanket may be heavier than mine. Make sure the yarn you choose is lofty but spun so that the stitch definition is clean (that is, a mohair or other fuzzy yarn would not look as nicely as this)
