I designed this blanket for my beautiful baby granddaughter born in May 2017. My canvas of patterns included bows, hearts and teddies and I knitted the throw in a single piece using a complementing palette of colours.
The blanket has shades of gold and yellow through to beige and cream and has three motif teddies on each side. The teddy was drawn from one of my own childhood bears.
The pictures shown illustrate the throw made in Drops Paris Aran Yarn, but the colours of Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran work equally as well, or other cotton Arans. Do, though, check the tension and yardage.
