This is a downloadable pattern containing both written instructions in English and printed stitch charts for overlay mosaic crochet. There are also links to video instructions. The instructions are available in UK and US Crochet Terms.
At approximately 63cm x 58 cm this blanket pattern is suitable for a small baby pram or car seat blanket but is easily adaptable to be made any size by completing more repeats of the pattern.
This would be an ideal first pattern for someone learning the technique of overlay mosaic but equally is a fast and fun project for people with more experience.
The blanket pictured was crocheted in DK yarn with a 3mm hook as I prefer a tighter look for mosaic crochet but that is down to personal preference.
