I created Belle a year ago for my granddaughter. She was born with cerebral palsy and was in hospital at the time having a course of Botox in her legs. She loves rabbits and so I made Belle as a special treat for being a brave little girl! She loved her. I thought I would share the pattern in the hope that other children might love one too.
She is made with approx 100g of d.k. yarn and a 3mm hook. She sits at approx 9.5 inches. She could be made with any weight of yarn as long as the hook size is altered accordingly (usually a couple of sizes smaller than usual to produce a denser st)
The pattern is written in English using U.K. terms. The pattern is broken down into steps and includes photographs to help clarify the instructions.
A good knowledge of basic crochet stitches is all that's required and an understanding of working in rounds.
