This 60"x72" blanket was inspired by Blackberry Cable pillow cover design. I was asked by a customer to knit a blanket in the same pattern and this is the result. Its knit in a double thickness, worsted yarn.
This pattern is really for the experienced knitter who is willing to put in a lot of hours of knitting!
Its knit back and forth on a circular needle to accomodate the large number of stitches.
You will need to know how to use a cable needle and be able to knit two different patterns over different numbers of rows.... but it will be worth the hard work!
