Knitting needles: 3,00 mm (US 2.5) and 3,25 mm (US 3).Gauge (colour pattern of the cowl worked flat, washed, ironed but NOT blocked): 10 cm = 28 sts, 10 cm = 24 r.
Further tools: tapestry needle, scissors, row counter and stitch markers (optional).
Required knowledge/ skills: stranded knitting, elastic cast-on, k, p, elastic cast-off, matress stitch (for seaming).
