Rowan Original Denim gives a wonderful washed-out effect when the instructions on the ball band are followed. This highlights the textured stitches. The finished object also shrinks, so I do recommend that you use the yarn specified for a successful result. This bag has the added advantage of not needing to be lined.
You can complete the project with a pair of gorgeous buttons to suit your taste. I used 1" domed vintage livery buttons.
