I wanted a romantic little girl dress, with a hint of nostalgia but not fussy. Think English garden tea parties! Something you could play croquet in :) The embellished hem adds lightness to a clean, polished design and the dress is comfortable and easy to wear. Two lengths are suggested: top or dress.
**Construction**: This garment is knit seamlessly top-down. The yoke is knit flat to the bottom of the button placket, then cap sleeves are bound off using an I-cord bind off. Front and Back are then worked separately for bust increases, then joined in the round. A welt is worked then the rest of the garment is worked in stockinette in the round to the lace portion (Top and Dress lengths are suggested). **Gauge:** 24 sts x 32 rows = 4 inches or 10cm in stockinette st in the round
