This pattern falls firmly into the category of patterns-that-are-easier-than-they-appear. Unique construction allows for the leg, heel, and foot of the sock to be worked flat with only the cuff and toe being worked in the round. Brussels sprouts starts with a cable panel that is worked flat and the rest of the sock is constructed from there. The overall effect is a sock with an intarsia cable panel on the front of the leg, without actually working intarsia in the round.
This sock features a short row heel and rounded toe. Instructions are included for 6 circumferences and the foot length is customizable. The cable pattern is both written and charted.
