Brynley is a cuddly Brown Bear who would make a lovely addition to any child’s teddy collection.
He is made with Caron simply soft Tweeds shade - Taupe and Caron simply soft shade - Bone, Stylecraft special DK shade duck egg and Lastly a small amount of black dk yarn is needed for his nose and mouth.
** Caron simply soft Tweeds is unavailable to purchase through love knitting, therefore in the materials section I have added Caron simply soft in shade Taupe as an alternative to the tweeds shade Taupe. It is the same shade and weight yarn just does not have the little tweedy flecks.
He is worked FLAT on 3.5 mm needles and is seemed at the back. Some assembly is required. This is a pattern for people who prefer to knit flat pieces rather than in the round.
I have used 12mm safety eyes and he measures 36cm tall and 15cm wide.
To complete Brynley you will need a knowledge of simple increases, decreases and colour changes. This pattern would be suitable a for beginner.
